Carolina Pétanque
Announcing!!
A new location has been announced for the 2025 Carolina Open!
Our planned location for this year was severely damaged by flooding due to Hurricane Helene.
We are happy to announce that we will now be hosting this year's event at the Ivey Redmon Sports Complex, near the brand-new Kernersville Recreation and Event Center at 788 Beeson Rd. (pictured below).
This is a great central location with multiple hotels close by and lots of great restaurants to choose from!
Once again, it's Select Doubles and the top prize is $1500!
Register Now!
Save the date - May 24th and 25th with friendly play on Friday!

In Memory of Dick Pollard
Our friend and fellow Carolina Pétanque member, Dick Pollard, passed away on Monday, August 5, at the age of 71, with his wife, Dawn, and his beloved dogs at his side.
Dick struggled with many health issues during the last several years, but he managed to attend multiple pétanque outings-recently in his new "wheeled toy." Often, he would "pet and pamper" and "dog sit" other people's dogs while they played.
Through it all, Dick remained witty, outgoing, and loved to talk and visit with his friends as they played.
He will be greatly missed.
Congratulations to our National Champions!
